It is not high definition so much as it is widescreen high resolution video. The Zi6 even has better video editing software, with the impressive ArcSoft mediaimpression Software, as Flip's video editing software tends to crash in Windows far too often, and works a lot slower. Basically, you will be able to enjoy your video editing and filming a lot more with the Zi6, as you will get slightly better video quality for a much lower price than the minoHD. The blacks and colors on the Zi6 are just so bold and vibrant, it's hard to tell why you would want to try any other camera.
